Mesotherapy is a minimal surgical process, which was introduced by French physician Michel Pistor in 1952, and was acknowledged by the French National Academy of Medicine in 1986, as an integral part of traditional medicine; it is currently widespread and tested throughout Europe for various diseases.

Through this methodology, we insert injectable conventional or homeopathic drugs, as well as vitamins, minerals and amino acids, directly in the mesoderm (middle skin layer)

Just like mesotherapy for the face or the body, similarly for the scalp, its effectiveness against hair loss is more direct because it is applied millimeters deeply in the scalp skin, so that active substances can act exactly on the level of their target, i.e. the roots of hair follicles.
The same substances, when applied as a lotion, cannot be equally effective, due to less deep penetration.
Therefore, we use mesotherapy in order to insert the appropriate pharmaceutical and multivitamin preparations into the hair follicles, for strengthening and resprouting of hair.

Prior to that, a medical history is taken, and clinical examination and digital dermatoscopy are performed, in order to diagnose the type of alopecia (androgenetic, disperse, cicatricial, areata, etc.), so that the medicinal concoction to be used can be specified.

The range of the substances that are used include multivitamins, minerals, trace elements, and antioxidant substances, combined with pharmaceutical substances, such as minoxidil, finasteride, dutasteride, etc.
